Counsellor
I trained to become a therapist following a positive experience as a client. I know what it is like to sit in that chair for the first time, and I still do it regularly.
I have been in practice for over six years, and I have worked with a diverse population of clients around the globe. I am a fully qualified, Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
As a pluralistic practitioner, I believe that there is no a general approach to therapy. I feel that it is my responsibility to adapt to your way of working, and ensure that you remain at the centre of your therapeutic journey. I am trained in the application of a range of therapeutic techniques, tools, and theory, integrating aspects of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Existential Psychotherapy, Psychoanalytic therapies such as Transactional Analysis, and Person-Centred therapy.
