About me

I am based in Cheshire and offer in person and online support. I am also a co-founder of The Listening Rooms a training provider for professionals and corporate clients.

My approach

My areas of special interest include:
Trauma and complex trauma
Dissociation and Dissociative Identity Disorder (D.I.D)
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and intrusive thoughts
Couples and relationship therapy
Clinical supervision for therapists working with complexity and trainees.

(Particular experience supporting therapists working with trauma, complex trauma, dissociation/DID, OCD, risk and complex client presentations.)

Alongside these areas, I support people experiencing:

Anxiety, panic attacks, phobias and Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
Depression, low mood, low self-esteem and confidence difficulties
Childhood trauma, sexual assault, and abuse
Dissociation and trauma-related difficulties
Bereavement and loss
Relationship and family challenges
Anger, addictions, and self-harm
ADHD and autism

My approach
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor, which means I draw from several therapeutic approaches to tailor therapy to you as an individual rather than using a single fixed model.

These include:

Person-Centred Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Psychodynamic Therapy
Transactional Analysis
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
Personal Construct Theory
My work is trauma-informed and relational, with a strong focus on creating safety, trust, and emotional understanding.

I also offer Rewind Therapy, a gentle non-disclosure approach that can be highly effective for trauma and phobias.

Trauma and Dissociation
I have extensive experience working with complex trauma and dissociative processes, including supporting clients living with Dissociative Identity Disorder (D.I.D).

This work is always approached with care, patience, and respect. Therapy focuses on stabilisation, safety, understanding dissociation, and building internal cooperation, allowing healing to unfold at a pace that feels manageable.

Couples Therapy
Relationships can become strained when communication breaks down, trust is damaged, or life pressures take their toll. I offer a supportive space for couples to explore patterns, rebuild understanding, and develop healthier ways of relating.

Clinical Supervision
I also provide supportive and reflective supervision for counsellors and trainees, offering a collaborative space to explore clinical work, develop confidence, and maintain ethical, thoughtful practice.

Sessions
Sessions are available face-to-face or online, and can be short-term or open-ended depending on your needs. I also offer extended sessions where appropriate, particularly for trauma-focused work.

If you’re wondering whether therapy might help, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
