About me

I have been a qualified nurse for over thirty years, with most of my career spent within the area of sexual health, HIV and addictions. I graduated with a Professional Doctorate in Health and Social Sciences in 2019 and, since then, have worked within a university setting as an academic. While I love this work, and continue to work there part time, I do miss working on a one-to-one basis with people in the way I did when I was working as a nurse. This led me to study towards a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and to expand into offering counselling and psychotherapy.

My approach

In our sessions, you will have the opportunity to reflect on repeating patterns, unresolved conflicts and underlying feelings that may be influencing your daily life. Whatever you are struggling with, my goal is to help you achieve greater self-awareness and healing.
