Integrative Counsellor & Coach · BACP & COSCA Registered
I work with men who look like they're managing. Men who hold things together for everyone else, who get on with it, and who've slowly realised that the way they've been doing life isn't working the way it used to. If that's you, you're in the right place.
I'm Emanuel. Before I trained as a counsellor I spent over twenty years building businesses, and somewhere along the way I hit a wall I couldn't push through. I did the deep work myself, properly, for a long time, before I ever sat in the counsellor's chair. I trained because that work changed my life, and I wanted to walk alongside other men doing the same.
So I'm not someone speaking to you from a place of having arrived. I'm still on this road myself. What I can offer you is honesty, real understanding of what it is to carry weight quietly, and someone who won't flinch when you finally say the thing out loud.
My work is high challenge and high support, both at once. I'll meet you with real warmth and I won't let you stay stuck. We start by getting honest about what's actually going on, underneath what you tell everyone else, and then we do something about it. We go deep enough to understand it properly, and we build from there towards something steadier and more solid underneath.
I'm an integrative counsellor, which means I draw on whatever genuinely helps you rather than forcing you into one method. I'm registered with the BACP and COSCA. Faith is part of how I see the world, and I work comfortably with men of faith and men of none.
Diploma in Integrative Counselling. Registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and COSCA (Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland).
