Counsellor
Moving to a new country can look exciting from the outside—and feel quietly disorienting on the inside.
You may be holding everything together for your family while wondering why this feels harder than you expected. Or watching your teenager struggle to settle without knowing how to help.
You don't have to navigate it alone.
I support international parents, adolescents, and families adjusting to life in a new country. Together, we make sense of the challenges that often accompany relocation, including anxiety, identity shifts, parenting through transition, school challenges, grief, homesickness, and the search for belonging.
If you've been telling yourself you "should be coping better," you're not alone. Major life transitions ask a great deal of us—even when we choose them.
I'm a counsellor, an immigrant, and a mother of two teenagers.
Having lived in multiple countries throughout my life and raised my own family across several international moves, I understand both personally and professionally the challenges of starting again.
Working within international and multicultural school communities, I've supported children, adolescents, and parents through school transitions, cultural adjustment, identity changes, and the emotional impact of relocation.
Today, I provide online counselling to international families across Europe and beyond.
My work is warm, collaborative, and integrative.
I consider not only symptoms, but the wider context of your life—your relationships, culture, environment, and stage of life. Together we'll create a safe space to understand what's happening, build on your strengths, and find practical ways forward.
Sessions are held online and last 50 minutes. Whether you're looking for short-term support through a transition or longer-term counselling, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you.
