About me

I'm a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist, trained at Tavistock Relationships and the University of East London. I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework.

My approach

My approach is integrative, grounded in humanistic values and informed by psychodynamic thinking. This means I adapt my work to suit you as an individual, while holding in mind how past experiences - especially early relationships - can continue to shape how we feel and relate to others in the present. I believe that meaningful change comes from both feeling genuinely understood in the therapy relationship, and from gradually coming to understand ourselves - our patterns, responses, and emotional world - in new and more honest ways.

I place particular importance on the relationship between us - how we build trust, how we work together, and what that might reveal. You don’t need to have things worked out before you come to therapy. Whether you're feeling anxious, stuck, overwhelmed, or simply want to understand yourself better, we can take time to explore things at your pace, in your own words.

Clients often tell me they appreciate the steady, reflective space we create together - somewhere they can pause, think, and connect more honestly with themselves. My role is not to offer quick fixes, but to support you in developing deeper insight, clarity, and the freedom to choose how you respond to life’s challenges.
