Integrative Counsellor BACP Member

My main aim is to help you feel seen, heard and known when they visit me. I feel privileged to be able to sit with another, spend time getting to know someone and helping them consider how they can start to feel better again. I appreciate that this can take time, but want to offer the space for as long or short a time as you feel you need, with an end in view.

About me

I have worked for over 15 years with families and children. My previous roles with children and families has given me a secure foundation in areas of safeguarding, issues related to parents and families, depression, anxiety, stress, school refusal, parenting concerns and the like and have learnt tools that could help you work through those concerns. Its important I continue to develop so I have regular sessions with a qualified supervisor and engage in courses that can keep me supporting you in a safe and ethical way.

My approach

Initially I will talk to you about what you may wish to achieve in sessions, being open and honest about what can realistically be achieved together, one step at a time.
Once we have considered our goals, we can begin the work! Its not a straight line but I welcome the ups and downs of working together with you and am available to support and help within our sessions.
