About me

I'm an accredited psychologist (MSc.)and Gestalt therapist in training. But before anything else, I’m a person, and I bring that humanity into my work. I don’t believe meaningful therapy happens through expertise alone, but through a genuine relationship built on curiosity, honesty, and trust.

I support people who want to understand themselves better and live in a way that feels more authentic and alive. I've worked with adults, young people, and families across public and private mental health settings, and I've learned that one of the most important things I can offer someone - regardless of background, identity, or what brings them for a session - is a space where they can show up exactly as they are, without needing to perform, or have it all figured out. That's often where change begins.

I also have a particular affinity for working with expats and internationals, because I'm one myself. I grew up in Italy to British and Belgian parents and have lived across Europe, so I have experience of the richness and challenges that come with living between cultures and starting somewhere new.

My approach

My work is rooted in Gestalt therapy, a relational and experiential approach that focuses on developing awareness of how you experience yourself, others, and the world around you. This means paying attention not only to your thoughts, but also to your feelings, your body, and what happens between you and others.

Often, the things that people bring to therapy are the patterns that once made sense, like ways of coping or interacting with others, that no longer serve them. Together, we bring those patterns into awareness and explore new ways of being and relating.

I also draw on other modalities when I think it might be helpful, including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and therapeutic art.

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK WITH ME:
- Sessions are collaborative and we go at your pace
- My role isn't to have the answers but to be a curious, caring and steady presence as you find your own.
- The work can be gentle and it can be hard, it can bring relief and it can bring discomfort, it can be serious and it can be playful. There's space for all of it.
- We talk and we might also try things out together, like a grounding practice, experimenting with movement or creative expression, or role-play.

- Reduced-fee spaces available: reach out if cost is a barrier
- Sessions are not reimbursed by insurance
