About me

I'm an accredited NIP psychologist (MSc.) and currently completing further training in Gestalt therapy. But before anything else, I’m a human, and I bring myself into my work. I don’t believe meaningful therapy happens through expertise alone, but through a genuine relationship where you feel supported, seen and understood.

Perhaps something has been feeling off for a while: anxiety that's been getting louder, a sense that you're going through the motions instead of fully living, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. Or maybe something has shifted recently, like a move or a loss, and you're trying to find your footing. Whatever it is, together we can explore the things that feel confusing, messy or too much to carry alone.

I've worked in the public and private mental health sectors, with adults, young people and families from different backgrounds, identities, and ways of experiencing the world. I also have a particular affinity for working with expats and internationals, because I'm one myself. I grew up in Italy to British and Belgian parents and have lived across Europe, so I understand what it's like to feel at home in many places and yet struggle to answer the question "where is home?". If you find yourself sitting with questions about who you are, where you belong or how to grieve what you left behind, I would be glad to explore them with you.

My approach

My approach is warm, explorative and rooted in Gestalt therapy, a relational and experiential form of therapy that focuses on developing awareness and increasing your sense of choice and agency.

You might come to therapy because the patterns that once made sense now keep you stuck or cause suffering. I'm also curious about how your wider environment and the stories you've absorbed about yourself, others and the world, shape how you are and feel today. Together, we bring those patterns, stories and experiences into awareness and explore new ways of being and relating.

I also work in an integrative way, drawing on other modalities, like Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and art therapy, when I think they might be helpful and relevant.

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK WITH ME:
- Sessions are collaborative and we go at your pace
- My role isn't to have the answers but to be a curious, caring and steady presence as you find your own.
- The work can be gentle and it can be hard, it can bring relief and it can bring discomfort, it can be serious and it can be playful. There's space for all of it.
- We talk and we might also try things out together, like a grounding practice, experimenting with movement or creative expression, or role-play.
- I'll often invite you to notice what's happening for you right now - in your body, your feelings, your thoughts.
