Psychotherapist
Hi I am Madeleine and welcome to my profile. I am a registered psychotherapist (MBACP #415472) who specialises in cognitive behavioural therapy. My work is client‑centred, meaning you set the pace while I provide a safe, supportive space for you to explore your mental health and well‑being.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy reading fiction, re-watching TV shows I have seen a hundred times before, and experimenting with new recipes. I am also a fan of yoga and the gym... when it’s not too crowded.
I am a generalist for adult clients. This means that while I don't focus on one issue, my clients bring what is most important to them. Many of my previous clients has involved supporting people navigate gaining confidence in life, work, relationships, and their bodies. With this many of my clients have felt stuck or have had traumatic experiences they wish to move forward from.
Suite 4/3, 52 St Enoch Sq, Glasgow G1 4AA
Outside of my personal experiences and work, my core qualifications include a soon to be completed Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused in mental and physical health, a Post-Graduate Diploma (PgDip) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Groupwork, a Counselling Skills Certificate, and a Master of Research (MRes) in Biomedical Sciences specialised in Molecular Genetics of Mental Health. I prioritise professional development courses to enhance my skills as an empathetic and informed therapist.
