Counselling Psychologist
Everyone has a unique life story and your sessions with me are about what you would like to bring and receive help and support with in the therapy. I have extensive experience of working with people seeking help with all kinds of issues that feel challenging at different points and stages in life. I offer a warm, empathic space to safely work through these in a supportive and nurturing way.
As a counselling psychologist I am trained in a range of therapy approaches that include relational, integrative, psychodynamic and CBT. We can decide together what the best approach might be to offer you the space and opportunity to work through what feels most important to you.
I am a HCPC registered counselling psychologist which means that I am trained in a range of therapy approaches (including relational, psychodynamic and CBT). I work integratively in a way that responds to what you would like and need from therapy. I have clinical experience in a wide range of settings that include different roles within the NHS, The Priory Bristol, universities, charities and other organisaions.
I have a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology, a Bsc in Psychology and an MA (Hons) Arts Degree.
I have undertaken academic research on the lived experience of seeking help for visible differences and have published research on the experience of being a mother with anorexia.

I have worked with a wide diversity of clients over the years who have had many different wants and needs from the therapy process. I really value the opportunity to work with you on whatever you are bringing and would like support with. I have some specialist experience of working with people experiencing post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, pain, grief and loss.
I also have extensive clinical experience of supporting individuals who are experiencing more
general life challenges such as relationship issues, low mood and life transitions. I work
integratively, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches that fit best for each individual.
