Family & Systemic Psychotherapist and Supervisor
About The London Therapy Clinic
The London Therapy Clinic was founded on a simple belief: that the standard of care you receive should not depend on where in the world you happen to be.
We are a specialist therapy practice offering UK-standard psychological care to individuals, couples, and families — wherever life has taken them.
I am a UKCP-accredited systemic psychotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I trained in the UK at some of the most respected institutions in the field — including the Tavistock Centre, Great Ormond Street Hospital, and the Brandon Centre — and I bring that depth of training into every clinical relationship.
I am Czech-born and UK-trained, which means I have spent much of my own life navigating what it means to feel at home in more than one place. That lived experience is not incidental to my work — it shapes how I understand the people I sit with, particularly those who are building lives across cultures, languages, and systems that were not designed with them in mind.
My clinical work centres on three interconnected areas: relationships and couples, family systems and adult children, and trauma. I work systemically — which means I understand you not just as an individual, but within the relationships, histories, and contexts that have shaped you. What often feels like a personal failing is frequently a response to impossible pressures. My work is to help you see that clearly, and to find a way forward that is genuinely yours.
For trauma, I use EMDR — an evidence-based approach that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories, reducing their emotional charge and freeing you to move forward.
I work with empathy, curiosity, and — where it fits — a degree of humour. Therapy does not have to be heavy to be deep. I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is where change begins, and I take that seriously.
I offer online sessions to clients across Europe and internationally, with in-person sessions available in London and soon in Prague. I accept direct billing with AXA PPP, Bupa, Aviva, Vitality Health, and other major international insurers. A free 15-minute introductory call is available before you commit to anything.
Does this feel like you?
Our work is rooted in systemic thinking, which means we understand people not as isolated individuals but within the relationships, histories, and systems that shape them. We work with what is present, what has been carried forward, and what is possible.
Our clients are often people navigating complexity — expats building lives in unfamiliar places, couples under the strain of relocation, adult children untangling family patterns, individuals carrying trauma that has never quite been addressed. Many have spent their lives adapting to systems and expectations that were not built for them. We offer something different: a space that adapts to you.
The name "London" in our title is not a postcode. It is a standard — the quality of clinical training, professional rigour, and therapeutic care that our founder brought from the UK and has built into every aspect of how we work. That standard travels. It is available to you in London, in Prague, online, and increasingly across the world.
From constraints. Into possibilities.

I completed my MA in Social Work at Charles University in Prague, before moving to the UK where I went on to study at some of London's most respected institutions. I hold an MA in Social Research from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
My systemic training began at the Tavistock Centre in London, where I completed the first two years of my systemic psychotherapy studies — one of the most prestigious training environments in the field. I went on to complete my MSc in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy through the Institute of Family Therapy in partnership with Birkbeck, University of London.
This combination of social work, social research, and systemic psychotherapy is at the heart of how I think clinically. It gives me a broader lens than most therapists — one that looks not just at the individual, but at the structures, systems, and relationships that shape who we are and how we live.
I am also a qualified Systemic Supervisor and trained in EMDR bringing both depth of training and breadth of clinical experience to every piece of work I undertake.
